I was able to attend Silverstone this year, and even though the weather was brutal, the racing was phenomenal. We camped in torrential downpours for 3 nights and it would have been tough to go through that only for the race to be bone dry. However, just how weather played a huge part in my own memories from the weekend, it also played a huge part in the Grand Prix itself. I wanted to depict our view from the Becketts grandstand, looking out across the circuit with the back of the Hamilton straight on the horizon as a tribute to the 9-time winner of the British Grand Prix.
