It was a different shade of orange this year at Zandvoort. Lando Norris made a statement victory at the Dutch Grand Prix by winning by over 20 seconds. The drivers championship race is officially on. I always think of Zandvoort as being very curvy, loopy and disorrienting and I wanted this painting to be comprised mostly of curves. The papaya McLaren overshadowed every other team over the weekend, though Max still came in second and beat Lando off the line (again). The third red stripe is a nod to Charles Leclerc who held off Piastri for the latter half of the race and earned himself an unexpected step on the podium.
