What jumps out at me when I think of this race? Mostly tires. Tires, tires, tires, tires and more tires. Due to concerns about higher-than-normal degradation, each driver was required to pit at least once ever 18 laps for a new set, which was a fairly odd requirement and made for a fairly odd race full of pit stops and new boots.
