I always look forward to Baku and this year did not disappoint. Oscar and Charles had an epic battle for the lead that lasted for half the race. Oscar managed to perfectly defend each lap without making a single mistake. It was a beautiful and nail-biting race to watch and I wanted this painting to feel like my own memory of the grand prix - dusty streets, long straightaways, 90-degree turns, all intertwined within the city itself.
