What a difference a few years make. Due to Suzuka’s unique figure-8 layout, the track actually crosses back underneath itself at one point which showed in one succinct photo just how far ahead the Red Bull is from the Mercedes this year. I brought in the pale pink “sky” to represent the beautiful cherry blossoms in bloom during the race weekend - a rarity for the F1 calendar to come to Japan this early in the season.
